Endokrin gestatsion qandli diabet is a dysfunction of the endocrine glands resulting in hyperglycemia during pregnancy. It is mainly related to insulin resistance and beta-cell dysfunction. It is classified into GDM A1 (monitored with diet and lifestyle changes) and GDM A2 (requires pharmacotherapy). Diagnostic criteria: fasting ≥92 mg/dl, 1h ≥180 mg/dl, 2h ≥153 mg/dl in a 75g OGTT
