Ancient stones were initially laid out with gaps or tied with a band to create structures. As techniques evolved, people began looking for other ways to stack stones for larger structures. They initially used clay, but over time it shrank and led to the creation of gaps. To address this, they started using sandstone, followed by various types of cohesive materials. About 3-4 millennia ago, a binding material that could be obtained by burning was developed. The first of these materials was gypsum. Gypsum has the advantage of not being very high, i.e., at 140-190°C, the gypsum-containing type is obtained by burning, and then it also began to be used from sandstone.
